Before I take a break from model watching I just want to say be wary of the model output over the next few days. We have often had heated debates if the models suffer from a lack of data due to xmas. Well all I know is the last two years of following the models over xmas the output has been rather odd and best ignored even if its showing the next ice age. My advice is enjoy xmas and don't bother looking at the output until the 27th.
